FIDEX FS combines Cone Beam CT, Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy in one veterinary-focused imaging system.
Designed to support broad clinical requirements, FIDEX FS gives veterinary organisations access to three complementary imaging technologies without building separate equipment and workflows around each modality.
FIDEX FS is a proven multi-modality platform developed around the practical requirements of veterinary imaging.
The system brings volumetric CT, routine Digital Radiography and real-time Fluoroscopy together with integrated acquisition, reconstruction and study-management tools.
Separate imaging systems mean more space, more patient transfers and disconnected processes. FIDEX FS brings the modalities together with open patient access and one veterinary workflow.
FIDEX FS documentation describes a large dynamic detector that remains fixed within the imaging geometry.
This design is intended to reduce detector movement, simplify modality changes and minimise the need for repeated geometric recalibration.
Discuss the FIDEX FS Workflow →FIDEX FS has one of the largest digital radiography tables in its class. At 90 × 120 cm, large-breed dogs can be imaged in a single position, with less repositioning and fewer repeat exposures.
The large table is for DR and fluoroscopy. For CT the standard table is used, so the gantry can rotate freely; the DR table port tells the system which table is fitted and prevents rotation while the large table is connected. Requires an FS with a DR table port.
Respiratory motion can affect image quality during veterinary CT examinations.
ABC™ Automated Breathing Control is designed to coordinate CT acquisition with compatible veterinary ventilation workflows during selected examinations.
This can be particularly relevant when imaging areas affected by respiratory movement.
Learn About ABC™ →The final workflow depends on the examination, clinical protocol and system configuration.
Acquisition, reconstruction, visualisation and study management in one connected workflow.
Established practices adding advanced imaging, and existing FIDEX owners ready to upgrade.
Eligible Classic systems can be upgraded in place: a new large dynamic detector, faster acquisition and continued software support, without replacing the system.
Eligibility, performance improvements and warranty terms are confirmed per system after an engineering assessment.
Nine things to settle before the system is ordered or relocated. Animage or the regional partner assesses every proposed installation.
FIDEX FS may help organisations expand in-house imaging, retain appropriate cases and reduce reliance on separate CT, Radiography and Fluoroscopy equipment.
Actual commercial outcomes depend on case volume, procedure mix, investment structure, service costs and regional pricing.
What Animage and its regional partners cover, from first install to the life of the system.
